The 2023/24 Best Bar None Sheffield programme reached an important milestone at the end of November 2023 with the completion of formal venue assessments and progression to the judging panel stage.
Darren Hendleman-Horne, Operations Manger for Sheffield BID and chair of the Best Bar None Steering Group said, “It has been an exciting journey bringing Best Bar None back to Sheffield city centre for 2023.
"I am delighted that we have reached this stage, acknowledging the hard work that all the venues have put in to gain accreditation and to take forward those venues that have gone above and beyond into the judging phase.
"I look forward to the outcome of the People’s Choice Award and to the awards night in February 2024 where we can all celebrate the excellence in Sheffield city centre’s night time economy.”
For the 2023/24 scheme, awards will be given in the following categories:
🏆 Best Pub
🏆 Best Bar/Late Bar
🏆 Best Entertainment Venue
🏆 Best Nightclub
🏆 Best Independent
🏆 Best Chain
🏆 Overall Best Bar None
There will also be People's Choice Awards in a number of categories which will be voted for by members of the public.
The winners of this year's Best Bar None Sheffield Awards will be announced on Tuesday 27 February 2024.
